Welcome

Therapy that begins with your whole self

I draw from a humanistic, strength-based approach that looks at the whole person, focusing on your strengths and what makes you unique. Whatever brings you here, therapy is a place to be met with warmth and without judgment.

Much of my work centers on grief and the meaning we search for after loss, shaped by years as a bereavement counselor with a hospice agency, alongside the relationships and transitions that shape a life. Together we make room for what's hard, so you leave each session feeling a little more grounded and a little more yourself.

Areas of focus

How I can help

Grief & loss

Support through bereavement, anticipatory grief, and the losses that don't fit neat timelines, at whatever pace feels right for you.

  • The death of someone close
  • Anticipatory grief while caring for a loved one
  • Losses that don't fit a neat timeline
  • Grief that resurfaces months or years later

Relationships

Work on connection, communication, and repair, for individuals and couples navigating change, conflict, or distance.

  • Recurring conflict or communication that goes in circles
  • Rebuilding trust after a breach
  • Family tension or estrangement
  • Feeling distant from a partner

Spirituality & meaning

A thoughtful space to explore faith, purpose, and identity, and how they shape the way you move through the world.

  • Questioning or losing a faith you once held
  • Searching for purpose after a loss or change
  • Tension between belief and doubt
  • Wanting a space that welcomes all beliefs, and none

Life transitions

Support through the changes that reshape daily life, expected or not, so you can move through them with more steadiness.

  • Divorce or separation
  • Becoming a parent, or an empty nester
  • Career change, job loss, or retirement
  • A move, or a health change

Anxiety, stress & burnout

Tools and a steady presence for the worry and overwhelm that can make it hard to feel settled in your own life.

  • Racing thoughts or trouble switching off
  • Perfectionism and self-imposed pressure
  • Overwhelm at work or at home
  • Climate anxiety

How I work

A steady, collaborative partnership

My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, blending humanistic and person-centered therapy, strength-based and positive psychology, CBT, narrative, psychodynamic, family systems, and somatic work, tailored to you rather than the other way around. I work with adults, adolescents (14 and up), couples, families, and groups, and my care is LGBTQI-affirming and BIPOC-affirming.
